What is an Intimacy Coordinator?

An Intimacy Coordinator is a third party advocate for performers, who also acts as an information liaison and offers expertise as a movement coach in order to support the Director's vision within the performer's personal boundaries, for scenes with nudity, intimacy, simulated sex and/or hyper-exposure.

Your production should consider hiring an Intimacy Coordinator when:

• There is a nudity/simulated sex rider needed.

• An actor feels they need support with sensitive material.

• A director feels they need support communicating sensitive material to actors.

• Production would like to create a safer on-set environment for it's performers and crew through establishing protocols for scenes of simulated sex/nudity.
